Lambeau Field ready for Sunday's Packers-Saints home opener

Saturday’s free Kickoff Weekend concert to feature Stone Temple Pilots and Collective Soul; Halftime on Sunday will welcome back more than 50 former Packers players for Alumni Weekend

Lambeau Field is set to welcome fans for Sunday afternoon's home opener between the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints. Kickoff is at noon.

Kickoff Weekend festivities will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, with the Kickoff Weekend concert event, presented by SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris and Kwik Trip. The concert will feature American rock bands Stone Temple Pilots and Collective Soul outside Lambeau Field in the stadium's northwest side parking lot.

This weekend also will celebrate the Packers' annual Alumni Weekend. More than 50 former Packers players from several eras of the team will be welcomed back on the field at halftime of Sunday's game.

Prior to Sunday's game, ticket holders who plan to access their tickets through the Packers mobile app should ensure they have the latest version of the app downloaded. This new version includes critical updates to the app's integration with Ticketmaster. Fans who don't update their app won't be able to access their tickets through the app, but they can use a web browser instead.

Fans also should note that Lambeau Field and all its businesses are now cashless, including parking for the first time this year. The concession stands and other terminals around the stadium also now feature new tap-to-pay technology, allowing fans to pay up to four times faster than before. Those who do not use credit/debit cards or contactless payments may use a cash-to-card conversion station in the Atrium.

Fans are also encouraged to visit the newly renovated upper concourse on the third level, featuring new, efficient grab-and-go concessions stands along with new LED screens that will keep fans updated on the game action away from their seats. Game attendees can also enjoy two levels of the Miller Lite End Zone on the north side of the stadium in the lower concourse. The space includes the grab-and-go Miller Lite Market and the Miller Lite End Zone Bar, a climate-controlled bar with 36 TV screens featuring games from across the league.

Packers Perks members attending Sunday's game are invited to visit the Packers Perks Donut House in the Lambeau Field Atrium to receive a free Kwik Trip Glazer donut while supplies last. Starting two hours prior to kickoff on home gamedays, Packers Perks members can use the tablets at the Donut House kiosk to input their email; when the machine recognizes the fan's email is associated with a Packers Perks account, a donut will be dispensed. Fans can sign up for the program and earn points at packersperks.com.

Fireworks will be set off from the stadium roof one hour prior to kickoff to remind fans to head toward the stadium to be inside by kickoff. Fans entering all gates will receive a "Kickoff Weekend" rally towel upon entering the stadium, courtesy of SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris and Kwik Trip.

Prior to the national anthem, the Packers will be recognizing U.S. Air Force veteran Shelli Harris through Operation Fan Mail on the field. The American rock band Collective Soul will sing the national anthem. A flyover is scheduled to be performed bya Boeing P-8 Poseidon, piloted by the Red Lancers of VP-10, a Navy Patrol and Reconnaissance Squadron based in Jacksonville, Fla. During halftime, the Badger Badgers and Burlington Demons will be competing in the High School Quarterback Challenge.

Fans are reminded of the stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12." All fans entering Lambeau Field on gamedays will use walk-through metal detectors. There is no exit/re-entry for noon games. The Lambeau Field parking lots will open Sunday at 8 a.m., with stadium gates opening at 10 a.m. The Atrium will be open to ticket holders at 8 a.m. via the American Family Insurance Gate. Guests with specials needs should note that wheelchair assistance is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with mobility challenges are encouraged to use their own wheelchairs.

Fans can visit the Johnsonville Tailgate Village on the stadium's east side parking lot. The space hosts ticketed and non-ticketed guests from 8 a.m. until one hour after the game ends. It will feature live music from the band Nashville Pipeline as well as food, beverages and a festive tailgating atmosphere.
