As fans are preparing for Thursday night's Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears Gold Package contest, the Packers are reminding game attendees of construction projects that are ongoing in the Green Bay area. Several parts of U.S. Highway 41 and Interstate Highway 43 will be affected by construction, especially for fans driving to Green Bay from Illinois and southern parts of Wisconsin. A full description of construction projects can be found by clicking here.

Fans are also reminded that enhanced security screenings, implemented last season, are continuing this season. It is recommended that fans allow extra time for entry into Lambeau Field. Gates open two hours prior to kickoff.

Thursday's matchup will celebrate the NFL's oldest rivalry. The series between the Packers and the Bears launched in 1921, and this game marks the 185th meeting of the two storied franchises. Thursday's game also marks the seventh consecutive season that the NFC North rivals have met in a prime-time game. Six of the last eight games between the two have been decided by seven points or less.

The Green Bay Metro gameday bus service is available again this year, with extended service to new areas of Green Bay. Further details and gameday route information is available here.

John Vincent will be performing the national anthem. Vincent is a singer at Mike Ditka's Steakhouse in Chicago, Ill.

A flyover of four Air Force F-16 jetswill follow the national anthem, weather permitting.

Also taking place at Thursday night's game is the premier gameday tailgate party in the Tundra Tailgate Zone (TTZ) in the Lambeau Field parking lot. Activities include green and gold hair painting, interactive games and food and beverage sampling.
