GREEN BAY – Packers linebacker Clay Matthews provided an update on his condition via Twitter on Saturday evening after being hit with a line drive during the Green and Gold Charity Softball Game at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis.

The Packers' six-time Pro Bowler was a co-host of this year's event with Packers receiver Davante Adams. Matthews was pitching when a hit ricocheted back at the mound and struck him in the face. He walked off the field under his own power and was immediately attended to by trainers in the dugout.

"Tough guy, because I would've still been on the ground right now," said Adams of Matthews afterwards. "We're just going to pray for him and hope that he feels better soon."

The game was halted for approximately 30 minutes. Both teams pitched from behind a batting-practice screen once play resumed. Matthews' team won 10-9.

The Packers are slated to hold their third and final public practice of organized team activities at Ray Nitschke Field on Monday at 11:30 a.m. CT (weather permitting).

TE Robert Tonyan hit a walk-off home run, spurring Clay Matthews' squad to a 10-9 victory over Team Davante Adams in the Green & Gold Charity Softball Game
