Eight-Ticket Limit Per Purchase Lifted; Event, Set For Aug. 8, Will Benefit Wendy's Wonderful Kids Program

Nearly 50,000 tickets have been distributed for 'Packers Family Night, Presented by FOX 11.' The event, which will take place Saturday evening, Aug. 8, will benefit the Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

Groups of fans who may be considering purchasing tickets are encouraged to do so, as the initial sales period has passed and the limit of eight tickets per purchase has been lifted.

Tickets, priced at $10, are on sale through Ticketmaster and may be purchased in person, over the phone or via the Internet. Tickets also can be purchased at the Packers' ticket office in person.

A direct link to online sales can be found by clicking here.

Over the phone, tickets can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster toll-free sales number at 800/745-3000. The toll-free Ticketmaster Express number, 866/448-7849, also can be used. It is a self-service information line utilizing an automated system. A TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) number also is available at 877/474-4TDD.

In-person sales are available at a number of Ticketmaster locations, including Boston Store locations in Brookfield, Glendale, Greendale, Janesville, Madison, Milwaukee, Racine and Wauwatosa. Other in-person locations are Younker's in Green Bay and the Milwaukee Theatre.

'Family Night,' now in its ninth year, will feature an intra-squad scrimmage between the Packers' offense and defense. Evening activities get underway in the stadium at 5:30 p.m., followed by on-field football drills at 6:30 and the scrimmage at approximately 7:30.

Included in the evening's activities, per custom, will be the popular Chili's "Jerseys Off Our Backs" promotion with approximately 20 jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed scrimmage – to be given away in a random drawing, other entertainment, the Copps–Pick 'N Save Family Night Picnic and the spectacular Copps–Pick 'N Save Fireworks Show.

The Kemps Packers Experience returns this year featuring expanded offerings to enhance the activities. Hundreds of kids enjoyed it last season in its inaugural year at 'Family Night.' The evening will feature other expanded activities for the younger fans, including sidewalk chalk and face painting. Also, the fireworks show will be bigger and better than ever as the Packers celebrate the organization's 90th birthday.

Parking for the event will be $5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Program.

For fans not attending the event, it will be televised in Green Bay on WLUK-TV FOX 11, as well as on WITI-TV in Milwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau and WLAX-TV in La Crosse. Hosted by Drew Smith and other members of the Fox 11 sports and news staffs, the live broadcast will start at 6:30 p.m.
