The Green Bay Packers have signed TE Devon Cajuste to the practice squad and released LB Beniquez Brown from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Cajuste (DEV-un kuh-JOOST), 6-foot-4, 235 pounds, originally signed with the San Francisco 49ers on May 6, 2016, as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Stanford before being released on Sept. 3. He played in 45 career games for the Cardinal, registering 90 receptions for 1,589 yards (17.7 avg.) and 14 touchdowns. In 2014, Cajuste set career highs in games started (11), receptions (34) and touchdowns (six). He will wear No. 86 for the Packers.
