Packers Alumni Carpenter, Odom At Lambeau Field This Weekend

Former Players At Pro Shop Saturday, Tundra Tailgate Zone, Legends Club Sunday

Green Bay Packers alumni Lew Carpenterand Steve Odomwill be in Green Bay this weekend taking part in various fan activities leading up to the Packers-Bills game.

Carpenter, a dependable back for five years in Green Bay (1959-63), was a vital part of the Packers' consecutive NFL Championships in 1961 and 1962. He played in 66 games and finished his career with a combined 572 rushing and receiving yards and one touchdown. Following his career he went on to coach 35 years in the NFL, including 11 seasons on the Packers sidelines (1975-85) as a receivers and passing game assistant.

Odom was a dynamic kick returner and wide receiver during his six seasons in Green Bay (1974-79). He finished his career with three punt and kickoff return records during his 75 games as a member of the Packers. He returned a punt 95 yards for a touchdown against Chicago in 1974, accumulated more than 4,000 career kickoff return yards, and totaled nearly 4,700 career return yards – all Packers records. He was voted to the Pro Bowl in 1975.

On Saturday, Sept. 18, both Carpenter and Odom will be visiting with fans and signing autographs in the Packers Pro Shop from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 19, prior to the game from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Carpenter will be visiting with fans and signing autographs in the Tundra Tailgate Zone. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.

Also on Sunday, Odom will be visiting with fans and signing autographs from 10:30 to 11:30 in the Legends Club on the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'

Both former Packers players will be introduced on Lambeau Field during pregame festivities.
