The Green Bay Packers have nominated Kaylee Knaak for the Maxwell Football Club Girls National Flag Football Player of the Year award.

All 32 NFL clubs selected a female high school flag football player to represent their team for consideration for this year's award, which recognizes outstanding on-field performance, academic achievement and community service.

Knaak is a senior at Franklin High School and team captain of the school's girls flag football team, a program she helped found. During the Sabers' inaugural season, she led the team in tackles and pass breakups and was a key piece of the offensive attack. She maintains a weighted cumulative 4.1 GPA and is heavily involved in volunteer work that benefits her school and community.

"The Packers are excited to nominate Kaylee Knaak for the Maxwell Football Club's Girls National Flag Football Player of the Year award," said Packers football outreach manager Ryan Fencl. "Girls flag football is rapidly gaining momentum nationwide, and leaders like Kaylee are driving that growth. We applaud her effort in helping to bring the sport to her school and for being a great role model on the field, in the classroom and throughout her community."

Four finalists from both the NFC and AFC will be chosen later this month. The winner will be announced in January and will be honored at the 89th Maxwell Awards Gala on March 13, 2026, in Atlanta.
