Packers announce roster moves

Packers have two roster spots available after releasing RB Jackson, DL McBryde


The Green Bay Packers have released RB Don Jacksonand DEB.J. McBryde. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Jackson, a 5-foot-10, 208-pound undrafted rookie out of the University of Nevada, signed with Green Bay on May 6.

McBryde, a 6-foot-5, 303-pound first-year player out of the University of Connecticut, had been with the Packers since being signed to the practice squad on Nov. 18, 2015.
