The Green Bay Packers on Tuesday announced they have awarded a $250,000 matching grant to the City of Green Bay to restore the beach at Bay Beach, a project that could be complete as early as 2020.
The beach will include 1,000 linear feet of newly sanded swimming beach, a 450-foot wildlife viewing platform with fishing opportunities, a lit waterfront trail and boardwalk, a bathhouse and concession stand and parking improvements.
