Packers award matching grants to 20 Wisconsin youth football programs

Grants will support equipment purchases, new uniforms and football facility improvements

The Green Bay Packers this summer awarded 20 youth football programs across Wisconsin a Packers Youth Football Matching Grant. The $1,000 grants will support equipment purchases, new uniforms and football facility improvements.

All youth football programs in Wisconsin – both flag and tackle – were eligible to apply. To secure the matching grant, each program was required to raise $1,000 of its own funds.

The programs selected include:

  • Columbus Dons Youth Football, Marshfield
  • Columbus Youth Football, Columbus
  • FRC Youth Football, Green Bay
  • Greenfield Youth Football, Milwaukee
  • Horicon Youth Football, Horicon
  • Lake Mills Youth Football Club, Lake Mills
  • Lancer Youth Football, Madison
  • Little Chute Jets Football, Little Chute
  • Mad Town Elite Youth Football, Madison
  • Northwest Wisconsin Champions, Eau Claire
  • Nova Stars Youth Football, Milwaukee
  • Omro Youth Football, Omro
  • Oshkosh Flyers Football Club, Oshkosh
  • Portage Touchdown Club, Portage
  • Prime Time Athletics, Mount Pleasant
  • Prospect University Sports Inc., Milwaukee
  • Regent Youth Sports Football, Madison
  • Waupun Gridiron Association, Waupun
  • Wittenberg-Birnamwood Area Youth Football, Wittenberg

The Packers Youth Football Matching Grant program is part of Green Bay Packers Give Back, the organization's all-encompassing community outreach initiative. Packers Give Back includes appearances by players, alumni, coaches and staff, monetary and in-kind donations, community events, Make-A-Wish visits, football outreach and much more. These efforts contribute to an annual charity impact in excess of $15 million.
