Packers clinch playoff spot

Win over Bears, loss by Rams puts Green Bay in postseason

GREEN BAY – The Packers are back in the playoffs for the first time in three years.

Sunday's 21-13 victory over the rival Bears coupled with the Rams' 44-21 loss at Dallas has secured no worse than a wild-card postseason berth for Green Bay, which hasn't been to the playoffs since 2016.

At 11-3 under first-year Head Coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers are still fighting for the NFC North title and a possible first-round playoff bye.

Green Bay can win the division by beating either the Vikings next week or the Lions in Week 17. If the Packers win both games, they'll get a first-round bye.

Either achievement – a division title or bye – would guarantee the Packers at least one more home game in January. The Packers finished the regular season 7-1 at Lambeau Field and are now on the road for their final two regular-season games.
