The Green Bay Packers and the NFL have partnered to offer fans the chance to win a trip to New York to see the much-anticipated new Broadway play, "Lombardi," Oct. 30, and then see the Packers take on the Jets at the new Meadowlands Stadium, Oct. 31.

The play, from Academy Award-winning playwright and Wisconsin native Eric Simonson, is based on the best-selling Vince Lombardi biography, "When Pride Still Mattered" by Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Maraniss.

The first prize winner will receive two VIP tickets to the play, including a meet-and-greet with performers, two tickets to the Packers-Jets game, airfare for two to New York City and a two-night hotel stay at The Muse Hotel in New York City.

Five second prize winners will receive a copy of "When Pride Still Mattered" autographed by Maraniss and a $50 Packers Pro Shop gift card.

Registration at www.packers.com/lombardicontest is underway, and the registration period continues through Sept. 28. Full details are available on the sign-up page. Entry also is available in person at the Packers Pro Shop and in the Lambeau Field Atrium. More information on "Lombardi" is online at www.lombardibroadway.com.

Potential winners must comply with the contest's official rules. The Packers will select the winner in a random drawing Sept. 30 from all eligible entries received during the promotion period. The potential winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail.
