Packers continuing fan initiatives to build playoff excitement

Organization offering fan activities and opportunities throughout the week


This Sunday, Jan. 19, Green Bay will take on San Francisco in the NFC Championship, and the team is reminding fans to join in the ongoing excitement with fan initiatives, sweepstakes and contests throughout the week.

To kick off the week with Monday Madness, fans of all ages are reminded to send mail to the team through the "Letters to Lambeau" program, presented by Cenex®. Letters and drawings submitted may be featured on to encourage the team as they get ready for Sunday's game.

Those interested in submitting letters or drawings can visit and download the templates to create custom messages to players and the team. Submissions can be sent through email at or mailed to Letters to Lambeau, PO Box 13092, Green Bay, WI 54307.

Monday will also begin another Countdown to Kickoff Sweepstakes, and fans can enter by visiting daily leading up to gameday to win prizes including jerseys, Packers Pro Shop gift cards, gear and more.

The next day, Ticket Tuesday, fans can enter to win tickets to Sunday's game through the Packers Everywhere 24-hour Flash Ticket Contest, which will be run through the Packers Everywhere Twitter account, @PackEverywhere. To enter the contest, fans should keep an eye on the Twitter account Tuesday morning for the official contest link.

On Wednesday, fans can participate in Win It Wednesday, with opportunities throughout the day to win Packers Pro Shop Party Packages through the Packers Everywhere Twitter account. Fans can also watch the Packers' social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) to have a chance to win Packers Pro Shop gear, gift cards and a Matt LaFleur-signed football.

On Thursday, the Packers Pro Shop will celebrate Thankful Thursday by offering fans a free can cooler in-store and online, while supplies last, to thank them for their support throughout the season.

On Friday, fans are asked to celebrate Green and Gold Friday, presented by CITGO, Qdoba and Steinhafels, by wearing green and gold or Packers gear at school, at work, in their homes and in the community. Fans participating in Green and Gold Friday can receive a free small coffee from CITGO by downloading the Club CITGO app, and can receive a free order of chips and queso with the purchase of any entrée at participating Wisconsin Qdoba locations. Steinhafels furniture stores in Wisconsin are also offering special discounts and opportunities to win Packers prizes to fans wearing green and gold on Friday.

Fans traveling to this weekend's game are invited to keep the celebration going and bring the spirit of Green Bay to San Francisco on Saturday, with a free Packers Everywhere pep rally at 6 p.m. PST at The Patio in Palo Alto, Calif. The rally will feature Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, who will take part in the pre-gameday excitement by greeting fans and participating in a Q-and-A session with Wayne Larrivee, the radio voice of the Packers. Fans also will have the opportunity to win giveaway items and take photos with Packers alumni Lynn Dickey and James Lofton.'s Mike Spofford and Wes Hodkiewicz will preview the next day's game to conclude the event.
