Green Bay Packers employees will take part in a day of volunteering for the sixth straight year during the organization's annual 'Packers Give Back Day' on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Once again this year, the organization will take over the various Salvation Army bell ringing locations at the Bay Park Square Mall. The Packers will be matching the funds collected throughout the day, which is designed to allow staff to get out of the office and give back to the Green Bay community.

Fans and shoppers are encouraged to stop by the mall and participate in the Red Kettle Campaign, an important holiday tradition in the Green Bay community, as many of the organization's programs operate only because of money received through Red Kettle donations.

All proceeds, including the matching funds donated by the Packers, will go toward aiding needy families, seniors and the homeless in Green Bay.

Members of the media are invited to cover the event from 10 a.m. to noon.
