Packers Everywhere, introduced in August, has released a free smartphone app that features a comprehensive directory of official Packers bars and restaurants throughout the United States, tools for fans to connect with each other, and original content about unique Packers fans and bars.
The Packers Everywhere app also includes Facebook and Foursquare features to invite friends, RSVP to events, upload photos, access Packers Everywhere content and contests, and receive exclusive offers on beverages, food, and merchandise at participating venues. It connects fans with 1,300 locations across the country and can locate establishments based on the user's area using interactive maps or geo-location.
Throughout the season the team plans to engage with Packers fans and official establishments though the Packers Everywhere program, supported by the app. This includes rewarding participants with free merchandise, tickets to home games at Lambeau Field, and a host of other prizes.
"The only thing our fans like more than watching Packers games is watching them with their fellow fans," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "We're teaming up with bars and establishments to host official Packers Everywhere events and offer special Packers offers, gameday watch parties, Packers giveaways and more."
