Event to Benefit Wendy's Wonderful Kids Program; Tickets Go On Sale June 6 Through Ticketmaster

The Green Bay Packers today announced that 'Packers Family Night, Presented by FOX 11,' will take place Saturday evening, Aug. 8. The event will benefit the Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

'Family Night,' now in its ninth year, will feature an intra-squad scrimmage between the Packers' offense and defense. Evening activities get underway in the stadium at 5:30 p.m., followed by on-field football drills at 6:30 and the scrimmage at approximately 7:30.

"'Packers Family Night' is one of our training camp's great traditions," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "Families coming together to watch Packers football on a Saturday night in Lambeau Field is a wonderful experience and is something unique to our team. We're excited to kick off the season with a special night."

"This is one of our annual events that really gets us excited. To be able to work with the Packers in order to open up Lambeau Field so that fans of all ages can appreciate a game day experience is rewarding to us," said Jay Zollar, FOX 11 Vice President and General Manager. "The entire evening is a terrific experience for everyone."

For fans not attending the event, it will be televised in Green Bay on WLUK-TV FOX 11, as well as on WITI-TV in Milwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau and WLAX-TV in La Crosse. Hosted by Drew Smith and other members of the Fox 11 sports and news staffs, the live broadcast will start at 6:30 p.m.

Included in the evening's activities, per custom, will be the popular "Chili's Jerseys Off Our Backs" promotion, with approximately 20 jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed scrimmage – to be given away in a random drawing, other entertainment, the Copps–Pick 'N Save Family Night Picnic and a spectacular Copps–Pick 'N Save Fireworks Show to conclude the night.

The Kemps Packers Experience returns this year featuring expanded offerings to enhance the activities. Hundreds of kids enjoyed it last season in its inaugural year at 'Family Night.' The evening will feature other expanded activities for the younger fans, including sidewalk chalk and face painting. Also, the fireworks show will be bigger and better than ever as the Packers celebrate the organization's 90th birthday.

Tickets, priced at $10, will go on sale Saturday, June 6, at noon, through **Ticketmaster** and may be purchased in person, over the phone or via the Internet. Click here for online ticket sales. Tickets also can be purchased at the Packers' ticket office in person from noon to 3 p.m. A limit of eight tickets per purchase will be in place for an initial sales period to allow more fans to have the chance to make a transaction.

Over the phone, tickets can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster toll-free sales number at 800/745-3000. The toll-free Ticketmaster Express number, 866/448-7849, also can be used. If the total number of tickets requested by groups exceeds the number of seats available, a drawing will be held to determine which groups will be accommodated. Groups will be seated together in the same vicinity. For non-group purchases, further details regarding ticket sales, including Web site information and phone numbers, will be announced prior to June 6, the start of sales.
