The Green Bay Packers announced today that 'Packers Family Night, presented by Bellin Health,' will take place Saturday evening, Aug. 5. Now in its 17th year, 'Family Night' will serve as the introduction of the 2017 Green Bay Packers, in-person to a capacity crowd in Lambeau Field and on television to a state-wide audience.

'Family Night' will benefit the Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Doors for the event will open at 5:30 p.m., and the team will be introduced on the field at 7:30 p.m.

The format of this year's Family Night will once again be a full practice, in order for the team to accomplish its preparation goals for the regular season. The full practice will include 11-on-11 sessions that will feature live contact.

The evening remains family-focused and will feature a game-like atmosphere with use of the video boards, gameday music and a fireworks show at the end of the night. Family Night is a part of the Back to Football campaign, presented by Bellin Health. Other components of the campaign include Packers training camp and Packers preseason games.

Tickets, priced at $10, will go on sale June 28 at 10 a.m. CT. Fans can purchase their tickets through Ticketmaster over the phone at 800/745-3000 or via the internet at ticketmaster.com. Tickets also can be purchased at the Packers' ticket office in person. There will be a limit of 10 tickets per purchase during the first day of ticket sales. All individuals, regardless of age, require a ticket for admittance.

A group ticket program (minimum of 50 tickets) will be offered again. The application form is available online at http://pckrs.com/4zbb, in person at the Packers ticket office or can be requested to be sent by calling 920/569-7501. Group ticket orders are restricted to approved groups and organizations, and are to be used for the sole purpose of accommodating a group or organizational outing. Resale is prohibited.

Included in the evening's activities will be the popular Chili's "Jerseys Off Our Backs" promotion with Packers jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed practice – to be given away in a random drawing.

The Pick 'n Save Family Night Picnic also returns and the spectacular Pick 'n Save Fireworks Show will conclude the night.

Parking for the event will be $5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wendy's Wonderful Kids Program.

In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show – are canceled.

As the new exclusive media partner of 'Family Night,' TODAY'S TMJ4 in Milwaukee, in conjunction with NBC26 in Green Bay, will originate a statewide telecast of the event as a part of the Packers TV Network. In addition to Milwaukee and Green Bay, the event will be televised by WKOW-TV in Madison, WXOW-TV in La Crosse, WQOW-TV in Eau Claire, WAOW-TV in Wausau, KQDS-TV in Duluth-Superior and WLUC-TV in Escanaba-Marquette.

Lance Allan from TODAY'S TMJ4 will host the broadcast, which will also feature the voices of the Packers, Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren, along with Jon Erickson, Cameron Moreland and Charlie Sokaitis from NBC26.

The entire training camp schedule is being finalized and will be released in the near future.
