The Green Bay Packers on May 17 and 18 will work with local nonprofit organizations Ben's Wish, Paul's Pantry and the New Community Shelter for the semi-annual Packers Give Back Day to help address food security for those in need over the summer months.

Packers employees will join in two days of volunteering for Packers Give Back Day and will prep and serve meals at the New Community Shelter, sort through donations and repackage bulk items for Paul's Pantry and pack weekend backpacks for Ben's Wish.

During the summer months, many nonprofit organizations that focus on food security are in greater need of help than the rest of the year. With fewer food drives this time of year and kids in need not receiving meals at school due to summer vacation, food insecurity becomes an even bigger obstacle for many people.

Ben's Wish, New Community Shelter and Paul's Pantry seek to fill in these gaps and help those in Northeast Wisconsin overcome these obstacles.
