Following their loss to the Vikings on Sunday night at Lambeau Field, the Packers dropped to the No. 5 seed for the NFC playoffs and will travel to Washington to face the Redskins in an NFC Wild Card game.

The game is slated for Sunday at 3:40 p.m. CST at FedEx Field.

The Packers and Redskins have not met in the postseason in 43 years. In two previous postseason meetings, the Packers are 1-1, winning the 1936 NFL Championship (played in New York, when the Redskins were known as the Boston Redskins) and losing the 1972 NFC Divisional playoff at Washington.

The winner will advance to the divisional round and travel to either No. 1 seed Carolina or No. 2 Arizona on the weekend of Jan. 16-17, depending on the outcome of the other Wild Card game between the Vikings and Seahawks.
