Packers offer reminders for fans attending Sunday's playoff game

Parking and NFL safety policy covered

As fans prepare to come to Lambeau Field Sunday for the Packers-49ers NFC Wildcard playoff game, the Green Bay Packers today offered a few reminders.

Packers season-parking holders: Fans who are holders of 2013 Green or Gold package parking passes in lots 1, 2, 5, 9, and 11 will be accepted on a first come, first served basis for the amount of spaces allocated. $40 cash will be required at the lot entrance.

Club Seat parking pass holders with passes labeled P1 (playoff game 1) will be accepted in lots 2 or 5 for a $40 fee at the lot entrance.

Parking pass holders with passes in lots 3 and 6 will be accepted with no fee. These pass holders are reminded to use the pass labeled P1 (playoff game 1).

Those with Green or Gold package parking passes in Lot 12 will be accepted on a first come, first served basis for the amount of spaces allocated. $20 cash will be required at the lot entrance. Fans with parking passes should enter the lot stated on their parking pass. The parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff.

NFL safety policy: Game attendees should remember to give themselves extra time to enter the stadium and be prepared for the subzero temperatures. The enhanced screening process may take longer than usual as fans will be dressed in heavier clothing.

No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12". Small clutches that do not exceed 4.5" by 6.5" are permitted, but subject to search. Cameras and binoculars may continue to be carried into the stadium but must be kept in a clear bag and not in a camera/binocular bag.

Stadium cushions are also not allowed as a part of the policy, however, stadium seats and stadium pads that contain no pockets, zippers or concealed areas, and are 18" wide or smaller are allowed. Seats in the 600 and 700 levels in the south end zone have seatbacks, so fans sitting in those areas do not need stadium seats. However, stadium cushions can still be used in these sections.

Blankets and unzipped sleeping bags may be carried into the stadium if they are carried loosely.
