The Green Bay Packers have placed offensive lineman Junius Coston on injured reserve and signed tackle Orrin Thompson from the practice squad. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, made the announcement Thursday.
In his third season with Green Bay, Coston saw action in 13 games, including seven starts, before suffering a calf injury Dec. 30 vs. Detroit.
Earlier this season, Thompson spent four weeks on the Packers' active roster. A 6-foot-6, 322-pound first-year player from Duke, he will wear No. 69.
