The Green Bay Packers will be represented by Chloe Wanink (Cameron, Wis.), Malik Muhammad (Sheboygan, Wis.), Blake Marquardt (Oshkosh, Wis.) and Dominic Berlin (Eau Claire, Wis.) at this year's NFL Punt, Pass and Kick National Finals on Jan. 15 in Atlanta prior to Packers-Falcons NFC Divisional Playoff Game. A special on-field award presentation will air after the third quarter of the game, which airs on FOX.
The four Wisconsin representatives won their respective divisions at the Packers' team championship competition on Dec. 5 in the Don Hutson Center prior to the Packers-49ers game and qualified as national finalists by ranking in the top four nationally. The participants and their guest are provided airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to the game by the NFL.
Finalists will compete separately in five age divisions in the Georgia Dome, with the top scorer in each group crowned national champion. All participants launch one punt, one pass and one kick, with scores based on distance and accuracy (in feet).
"We're proud of the four finalists from Wisconsin and wish them the best of luck in Atlanta," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy.
The first-place winners of the Packers' team championship included the following: (6 and 7 year olds) Julia Neuberger, Lake Mills; Joshua Bauer, Omro; (8 and 9 year olds) Kennedy Peters, Seymour; Jaden Raymer, Sparta; (10 and 11 year olds) Devon Boll, New Glarus; Malik Muhammad, Sheboygan (12 and 13 year olds) Chloe Wanink, Cameron; Blake Marquardt, Oshkosh; (14 and 15 year olds) Rebecca Simpson, Black Creek; Dominic Berlin, Eau Claire.
