Packers promote Dworak

The Green Bay Packers have promoted Cathy Dworakto director of community outreach & player/alumni relations. Ed Policy, Packers vice president and general counsel, made the announcement Thursday.

Dworak, a native of Denmark, Wis., has been with the organization since 2000, when she began her Packers career in the marketing department. She was promoted to manager of community relations in 2002, and in 2010 she became the team's manager of community outreach & player/alumni relations.

Prior to joining the Packers, Dworak worked at the Denmark State Bank and Fort Howard Corporation. She graduated from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an associate degree in marketing in 1988, and subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in management communications from Concordia University and a master's degree in management from Cardinal Stritch University.

In the community, Dworak serves as vice president of the board of directors for the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Educational Foundation, as well as on the board of directors for Make-A-Wish of Wisconsin, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, NEW Community Shelter and Angel Fund for Children with Cancer.
