GREEN BAY – Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been named the FedEx Air Player of the Week for the first time in his career after completing 27 of 32 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Chicago Bears.
In the victory, Love established new career highs in both passer rating (128.6) and completion percentage (84.4%) and became the first Green Bay QB to throw for 300-plus yards and multiple TDs with no INTs while posting 25-plus completions and a completion percentage of 84-plus.
His 84.4 completion percentage on Sunday was the second-best mark in team history among QBs with 30-plus attempts in a game behind only Lynn Dickey at Houston on Sept. 4, 1983 (27 of 31, 87.1).
Love joined Tom Brady (30 of 35, Oct. 26, 2014) as the only QBs in NFL history to have 30-plus passing attempts and a completion percentage of 84-plus against the Bears.
The other nominees for the award were Buffalo's Josh Allen and Detroit's Jared Goff.
