GREEN BAY – While no decision has been made regarding the location of the 2022 and 2024 NFL Drafts, the Packers continue their efforts to bring the landmark event to the Greater Green Bay area.

"The NFL has not awarded the 2022 NFL Draft to the Packers or any other club at this time, but we remain aggressively committed, with members of our community, to bringing a draft to Green Bay in either 2022 or beyond," President/CEO Mark Murphy said.

"We are excited for the opportunity and believe the Greater Green Bay area is well-positioned to host such a remarkable event with the continued evolution of Lambeau Field, the successful launch of Titletown and the upcoming completion of the state-of-the-art Resch Expo."

The NFL began rotating draft around the country in 2015. This year's event is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, while Cleveland and Kansas City already have been confirmed for 2021 and 2023, respectively.

The Packers have submitted bids to host the draft in 2022 and 2024. The organization believes the advent of Titletown, the 45-acre development west of Lambeau Field, and construction of the 127,000-square-foot Resch Expo on the east side of the stadium, make Green Bay an attractive suitor for future drafts.

Last year's NFL Draft in Nashville drew more than 600,000 live attendees and enjoyed a record-shattering 47.5 million viewers. Although Green Bay isn't a metropolitan city, the Packers hope to play off their rich history and expanding infrastructure to bring the event to the area.

Titletown, which opened in the summer of 2017, includes a 10-acre public park and plaza, a winter skating rink, Ariens Hill for tubing, the four-diamond Lodge Kohler hotel, Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine & Orthopedics Clinic, and Hinterland Restaurant and Brewery.

The development also has expanded to house a Topgolf-themed restaurant called "The Turn," as well as TitletownTech, a partnership with Microsoft offering digital innovations and expertise to northeastern Wisconsin through an innovation lab, venture studio and venture fund.
