Packers Sign CB Scorpio Babers

The Green Bay Packers have signed cornerback Scorpio Babers. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transaction Friday.

Babers, a 5-foot-11, 194-pound player, was a three-year letterman at Sam Houston State. He originally signed with Miami as a non-drafted free agent in May 2008.

Babers will wear No. 41.
