The Green Bay Packers have signed DT Bruce Gastonto the practice squad. The transaction was announced Tuesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Gaston, a 6-2, 310-pound second-year player out of Purdue, was on the Packers' roster for the first three games this season, appearing in two contests and recording one solo tackle. He originally entered the league as a non-drafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals in May 2014. Gaston spent time on the active rosters of Arizona, Miami and Green Bay last season but did not appear in a game. He will wear No. 99 for the Packers.
