Packers Sign LB Francois, QB Pizzotti To Practice Squad

The Green Bay Packers have signed LB Robert Francois and QB Chris Pizzotti to the practice squad. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the signings Wednesday.

A 6-foot-3, 255-pound rookie from Boston College, Francois (pronounced Fran-SWAH) played in 52 career games for the Eagles. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a non-drafted free agent in May and also spent time this summer with the Detroit Lions.

Francois will wear No. 49.

Pizzotti, a 6-foot-5, 226-pound rookie from Harvard, was a two time All-Ivy League selection. He signed as a non-drafted free agent with the New York Jets, where he spent all of the preseason.

Pizzotti will wear No. 13.
