The Green Bay Packers signed P Drew Kaser and elevated RB Mike Weber from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday. The transactions were announced Saturday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Kaser (KAY-zer), a 6-foot-2, 206-pound third-year player, joins the Packers for the second time after having spent a couple days with Green Bay during the 2018 season. He was originally selected by the San Diego Chargers in the sixth round (No. 179 overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M. Kaser played in 36 career games for the Chargers (2016-18), averaging 47.4 yards (40.2-yard net avg.) on 146 punts with a long of 69 yards and 50 punts landing inside the 20-yard line. He has recorded two touchbacks on eight kickoffs. Kaser also spent part of the 2019 offseason with the Oakland Raiders. Kaser will wear No. 9 for the Packers.
