As part of the organization's Girls Flag Grant Program, the Green Bay Packers have teamed up with SYZMIK Sports, LLC to provide 40 Wisconsin high school girls flag football programs with SYZMIK X7C protective headbands.
Specifically designed and engineered to reduce the risk of head injury from incidental contact in non-tackle football without the need for a full helmet, the X7C headbands earned a 5-star rating from the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab, a nationally recognized leader in helmet safety research. Combining protection, comfort and modern design, the headgear empowers athletes to compete with confidence.

The Packers are working with the 20 schools awarded grants through the Girls Flag Grant Program earlier this spring to distribute X7Cs. An additional 20 programs will receive X7C headbands as part of this year's grant cycle. Following the approval of their applications, schools will receive the protective headbands and a girls flag starter kit courtesy of USA Football. Each program will also be awarded $5,000 upon the completion of its girls flag season.
The Packers are currently accepting applications for the second year of the program through March 31, 2026. Schools are invited to apply for a girls flag grant at this link.
