GREEN BAY – The Packers' annual trip to Soldier Field in Chicago to battle the NFC North rival Bears will take place Saturday, Dec. 20, at either 3:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. CT and be televised on FOX.

The NFL announced this specific Week 16 matchup Monday, with the full schedule set to be released Wednesday. The official kickoff time for the Dec. 20 game will be determined at a later date.

The Packers haven't had their regular-season meeting with the Bears in Chicago that late in a season since 2020, when it was on Jan. 3. But in the 17 seasons from 2004-20, the Packers and Bears played at Soldier Field in December or January 11 times in the regular season, with a 12th such matchup in that span occurring for the 2010 NFC title.

Last season, when the Bears beat the Packers at Lambeau Field in the Week 18 regular-season finale on Jan. 5, it snapped Green Bay's 11-game winning streak in the NFL's oldest rivalry and marked the first time the Packers lost to the Bears during Head Coach Matt LaFleur's tenure.

The last time the Packers lost to the Bears at Soldier Field was on Dec. 16, 2018.
