Packers to present three candidates for election to Board

Actions to become formal at July 24 Annual Meeting of Shareholders at Lambeau Field

The Green Bay Packers will present three candidates for shareholder vote to join the Packers Board of Directors.

The list of candidates was included in proxy information being sent this week to more than 360,000 shareholders in advance of the Annual Meeting, set for 11 a.m., July 24, at Lambeau Field. The candidates were approved by vote of the organization's Board of Directors at its quarterly meeting last month.

They are Philip B. Flynn, president & CEO, Associated Banc-Corp, Green Bay; Michael J. Haddad, president & CEO, Schreiber Foods Inc., Green Bay; and Elizabeth (Betsy) Trowbridge, M.D., associate professor of medicine, associate vice chair and division chief of general internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison, Wis.

"The Packers are delighted to present these candidates for shareholder vote," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "I'm excited about the significant, varied expertise that these three individuals will bring to our Board."

The shareholders meeting also will see John N. MacDonough, John C. Meng and Michael R. Reese take on emeritus status.

In addition to the Board vote, the meeting includes reports from President/CEO Mark Murphy and General Manager Ted Thompson, among others.

Shareholders planning on attending the meeting will be issued four tickets for each shareholder account, including accounts that have a joint or custodial registration. Shareholders receiving meeting materials electronically will be able to access print-at-home tickets upon voting their shares. Shareholders who receive their meeting information via standard mail will receive printed tickets in that same mailing.

Information about the Annual Meeting, which will be updated as the date approaches, also can be found online at www.packers.com/community/shareholders.html or www.packersowner.com.
