The Green Bay Packers announced today they will recognize Wisconsin educators and staff during the Packers Give Back Game on Saturday, Aug. 23.

The preseason matchup between Green Bay and Seattle will mark the fifth annual Packers Give Back Game, which supports a benefiting nonprofit from Wisconsin by highlighting their work and amplifying their message before and during the game.

In collaboration with Wisconsin CESAs (Cooperative Educational Service Agencies), hundreds of educators and staff from across the state were selected to receive a free bus ride to the game, a food and beverage gift card and tickets to a designated area in the south end zone. Prior to kickoff, several honorees will take the field to be recognized.

"We're proud to honor Wisconsin educators and staff through our annual Packers Give Back Game," said Packers President/CEO Ed Policy. "We commend their unwavering dedication to student success and look forward to recognizing the critical role they play in shaping the futures of our youth and communities."

CESAs are nonprofit organizations that act as intermediaries between school districts and the state, providing services and resources to help schools in their region collaborate and improve educational outcomes. There are 12 CESAs across Wisconsin, each serving a specific region. CESA 7 represents the geographic area that includes Green Bay.

"We at CESA 7 are deeply honored to be recognized during the Packers Give Back Game, representing public schools statewide," said CESA 7 Agency Administrator Aaron Malczewski. "Public education forms the bedrock of our communities, and we take immense pride in supporting educators who tirelessly prepare students for success in college, careers and life. Their dedication and hard work are fundamental to shaping a brighter future for Wisconsin's youth."

Packers Give Back is the team's all-encompassing community outreach initiative that includes the Green Bay Packers Foundation, appearances made by players, alumni, coaches and staff, football outreach, cash and in-kind donations, Make-A-Wish visits, and community events. The annual overall charitable impact of Packers Give Back exceeds $13 million.
