Marco Rivera was selected by the Packers in the sixth round of the 1996 NFL Draft out of Penn State and spent nine seasons with the team. He appeared in 125 games with 111 starts, including his final 99 consecutively. He started seven consecutive seasons at guard, which is the second-most starts for a guard in team history. He was a dependable contributor to the Super Bowl XXXI championship team and between 2002 and 2004, he was selected to three Pro Bowls. Rivera was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2011.
