Packers pride is growing strong, as evidenced in the success of Boston Incorporated's "Free Merchandise Event," which started the day after Christmas in all eight locations. Scheduled to end at close of business New Year's Day, the popular event has been extended to meet demand until close on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008.

This past week Vinnie Fonti, vice-president of merchandising for Boston Inc, experienced the enthusiasm for this event as he worked the floors in multiple locations. "Customers shopping were wearing their Packers clothing and were excited to share their thoughts on the Packers' chances. Everyone I talked to was confident this was the year."

Doing business in eight locations statewide, Boston Inc is Furniture & ApplianceMart in De Pere, Oshkosh, Plover, Rhinelander and Wausau and Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Appleton, Green Bay and Plover.

Traffic in each of these locations grew substantially each day that the promotion continued. By New Year's Day, the eight stores combined recorded historic traffic. By extending the promotion one more weekend, Boston Inc owners are confident they will be able to meet all the furniture, electronics and appliance needs of Packers fans in time for the big game. These extra days ensure even more households will be able to benefit from a Packers win on Feb. 3, 2008.

"As awareness of and trust in the event's authenticity grew, so did the traffic to our stores. Orders have been brisk," Fonti adds. "In these final days, we'll all be cheering '3 to Free'. Only three more wins, then our customers' merchandise is free."

There is no minimum purchase amount to participate in this event. To be eligible for the cash redemption, however, purchases must be made by Jan. 7, 2008, and the event terms followed completely. Visit any of the eight stores or www.furnitureappliancemart.com for event details.

"It's been great to see the response to this unique offering. Excitement for the playoffs is growing and fans taking part in this great offer is further evidence of that," said Sara Webb, Packers corporate sales account executive.
