Registration is still open for the Packers Give Back Celebrity Bowling Event, set for June 8, at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley. The event will feature Packers players, coaches and alumni, who will join individuals and businesses for a fun-filled night of bowling.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the NWTC Student Emergency Fund, a program dedicated to offering financial support to students at NWTC in difficult situations.

Registration for the evening begins at 6 p.m., with the bowling event and silent auction to start at 6:30. The silent auction will feature autographed Packers memorabilia, in addition to other items. In past years, the Packers assisted with a similar event, the "Edgar Bennett Celebrity Bowl-a-thon," which was last held in 2012.

Area businesses and individuals are encouraged to support the effort, with lanes available as a way to join the fun-filled evening and bowl with a member of the Green Bay Packers family.

Lanes are available for $1,000 and will include a team of four bowlers per lane, with each team to be joined by one Packers celebrity. All participants will receive a gift and team photo, a shirt, their company sign displayed above their lane, plus access to the Nestle Family Fun Night Buffet.

To sign up for the event, please visit http://packers.com/packersbowlingevent or contact the Packers' community outreach department at 920/569-7500.

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and the NWTC Educational Foundation help any and all people begin and advance careers – careers that support families, drive communities and allow our economies to remain competitive. Students are struggling every day to pay for the much needed education that will give them a better quality of life.

The NWTC Educational Foundation is dedicated to removing barriers that so many students face as they try to earn a degree or diploma, and ensuring that each student, regardless of his or her financial situation, will have access to education. Funds raised will provide student emergency funds to help deserving students fulfill their educational dreams. The Packers Give Back Celebrity Bowling Event is a part of Green Bay Packers Give Back, the Packers' all-encompassing community outreach initiative, which includes the Green Bay Packers Foundation, appearances made by players, alumni, coaches and staff, youth football outreach, cash and in-kind donations, Make-A-Wish visits, and community events.
