Saturday Injury Update

text - More Mike McCarthy Press Conference Transcript - Nov. 22

The Packers made two changes to their injury report on Saturday, including the addition of guard Josh Sitton, who is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

Head Coach Mike McCarthy said Sitton sustained the injury on Friday in practice when another player rolled up on his ankle.

Defensive end Jeremy Thompson, who was listed as probable on Friday with a groin injury, has been downgraded to questionable.

"Jeremy Thompson's injury would fall in the classification of a fatigue injury, so just after meeting with the doctors today, they feel his chances of potentially playing Monday have lessened," McCarthy said. "We will work Jeremy out before the game to see where he is."

McCarthy said safety/cornerback Jarrett Bush, listed as questionable with an ankle injury, will also test his injury Monday before the game to determine his availability.

Linebacker Nick Barnett underwent successful surgery on his knee Thursday at Bellin Hospital to repair a torn ACL.

"Everything was very positive with Nick Barnett's surgery," McCarthy said. "(Dr.) Pat McKenzie felt very good about how the procedure went and everything that he saw. He was very positive about it."
