Skoronski and Dale to be featured alumni this week

Former players at Lambeau Field Atrium Saturday, Tundra Tailgate Zone and Legends Club Sunday


The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni Bob Skoronskiand Carroll Dalefor the Packers-Lions game on Sunday, Nov. 15. Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Lambeau Field Atriumon Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature Daleon gameday* *from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at

Also on Sunday, Skoronskiwill be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Clubon the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'

Selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of the 1956 NFL draft, Bob Skoronski played 11 years for the Packers. After his rookie season, Skoronski spent two years in the military before returning to the team, which went on to win five NFL titles, including the first two Super Bowls, over the next nine seasons. With the help of Skoronski playing left tackle and serving as the Packers offensive captain, the Packers posted impressive rushing numbers, gaining more than 2,200 rushing yards per season for four consecutive seasons. Skoronski earned Pro Bowl honors in 1966, and was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1976.

Carroll Dale came to Green Bay through a trade with the Los Angeles Rams in 1965 and played eight seasons for the Packers. A prolific wide receiver, Dale played in 111 games with the team, and in 13 of those games he posted more than 100 receiving yards. Dale spent six seasons leading the team in receiving yards, five of which were consecutive seasons, and to this day he holds the team record with an average of 19.7 yards per catch. He registered 275 receptions in his time with Green Bay and was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1979.
