GREEN BAY – Two local rivals will meet again on Thanksgiving night at Lambeau Field for the QB Challenge, which will take place during pre-game festivities rather than halftime due to the Brett Favre ceremony planned at intermission.

Green Bay Notre Dame broke a five-game losing streak to Fox River Classic Conference rival Ashwaubenon by winning their matchup back in early September, 35-28.

From there, Notre Dame went on to finish tied for second in the conference with a 7-2 record, and the Tritons won five straight postseason games to capture the Division 3 state title, defeating Waukesha Catholic Memorial by two points last Friday in Madison.

Ashwaubenon, a school located just a few blocks from Lambeau, would place fourth in the conference and finish the season at 6-4, losing in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs.

Notre Dame will feature QB Robert Petitjean and WRs Vinny Pallini and Nick Wagner. Petitjean threw for more than 1,600 yards with 15 TDs this season, while Pallini was his leading receiver (38 catches, 542 yards, 3 TDs).

Ashwaubenon will bring QB Will Ark along with WRs Will Toonen and Devan Klaus. Ark threw for 2,481 yards and 27 TDs this season, while Toonen and Klaus combined for more than 700 of those yards and seven TDs.
