'Toys for Tots' collection at Lambeau Field set for Sunday's game

The Packers' annual Toys for Tots collection will take place Sunday, Nov. 30, at Lambeau Field prior to the Green Bay Packers-New England Patriots 3:25 p.m. game. Fans attending the game will have the opportunity to donate new, unwrapped toys for distribution to needy children in the area through the U.S. Marine Corps.

Cash donations will be accepted as well.

U.S. Marines will be stationed throughout the parking lots to collect donations prior to gate openings, and will position themselves at gates once entrance is permitted at 1:25 p.m. (two hours before kickoff).

The total amount of toys and cash collected will be announced during the game's second half.

The Toys for Totscollection at Lambeau Field is a part of Green Bay Packers Give Back, the Packers' all-encompassing community outreach initiative, which includes the Green Bay Packers Foundation's annual and impact grants, and more than 10,000 autographed items donated for fundraising efforts in the past year. Other key outreach areas include the more than 900 yearly appearances made by players, coaches and staff, youth football grants and outreach camps, cash and in-kind donations, Make-A-Wish visits, and community events. These efforts, combined with direct cash donations by the Packers to various charity endeavors, resulted in a comprehensive Green Bay Packers Give Back charity impact in excess of $6 million in the past year.
