Two Advance To NFL Punt, Pass & Kick National Finals

The Green Bay Packers hosted the annual Punt, Pass & Kick competition prior to the December 19th game vs. Jacksonville at Lambeau Field.

Forty youngsters, ages 8-15, advanced from across the state for the opportunity to compete for the title of Green Bay Packers PPK Team Champion and the chance to move on to the PPK National Finals.

Veteran quarterback Doug Pederson spoke to the competitors before the competition, stressing the importance of doing their personal best at all times.

The 2004 Punt, Pass & Kick Packers Team Champions are:

8/9 Girls - Mikayla Hilton (Saukville)

8/9 Boys - Mitchell Martin (Jackson)

10/11 Girls - Amy Zolinski (Cedarburg)

10/11 Boys - Thomas Vander Gailen (Randolph)

12/13 Girls - Ashley Hanke (Marathon)

12/13 Boys - Andre Pohl (Belgium)

14/15 Girls - Brianna Miller (Waupaca)

14/15 Boys - Aaron Paun (Spencer)

From that group, Mikayla Hilton and Thomas Vander Galien advanced to the NFL PPK National Finals prior to the Saturday, January 15th AFC Divisional playoff game in Pittsburgh.
