Veterans Report For Mini-Camp

With the NFL draft behind them, the Green Bay Packers began preparation for the 2004 season Tuesday when veterans reported to Lambeau Field for the first mini-camp of the offseason.

Players attended meetings and underwent physical testing in addition to being fitted for equipment, ranging from helmets to mouthguards.

Practices for the veterans begin Wednesday, with rookies entering the mix Friday.

Mini-Camp Practice Schedule

Wed., April 28 - 11 a.m. (veterans)*

Thurs., April 29 - 11 a.m. (veterans)*

Fri., April 30 - 10:30 a.m. (veterans & rookies), 2:45 p.m. (rookies & selected veterans)*

Sat., May 1 - 10:30 a.m. (veterans & rookies), 2:45 p.m. (rookies & selected veterans)*

Sun., May 2 - 9:30 a.m. (rookies & selected veterans)*

  • *All practices are scheduled to be held at Clarke Hinkle Field (open to public), unless inclement weather or poor field conditions require practices to be moved inside the Don Huston Center (closed to public).

Please check the local forecast before attending practices, as rain is expected for much of the week.*
