With the holiday season right around the corner, Titletown is gearing up to celebrate with the free Winter Jubilee Warm Up, presented by EUA and Shopko Optical, on Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29.
The festivities will offer activities for all ages to get into the holiday spirit and will serve as the kick-off for winter programming at Titletown, with Titletown Winter Jubilee events taking place throughout the coming months.
The Winter Jubilee Warm Up will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, when ice skating on Hy-Vee Plaza opens for the day, with Grinch Skate from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. At 4 p.m., Santa will make an appearance in Titletown for a special bell ceremony to kick off the night's festivities. Multiple fire pits will be lit on Hy-Vee Plaza and in the Leinenkugel Beer Garden, and visitors can enjoy drinks served fireside. Holiday games, festive photo op stations featuring live reindeer, train rides and more will also begin at 4 p.m. Guests who wish to visit with Santa while putting together a craft and enjoying cookies and hot cocoa must register for Santa's Workshop presented by Traditions Lighting here.
On Nov. 28, the Winter Jubilee Light Show presented by EUA and Shopko Optical will debut at 6 p.m. and run every 30 minutes. This schedule will continue most Fridays and Saturdays with increasing showtimes later in December. The family-friendly presentation is projected onto Lambeau Field's outer west façade, off of Ridge Road, and will feature a dazzling blend of holiday-themed lights and animation, music, special effects and fireworks. Throughout December, community members and visitors are invited to participate in the holiday fun at Titletown with opportunities to visit with Santa through Santa's Workshop and Santa Claws and Paws, a chance for pets to get their picture with Santa. Christmas Karaoke, Holiday Themed Trivia, Zumba Social and more will be hosted throughout the month. A full schedule will be available soon on titletown.com.
Titletown's Winter Jubilee will last beyond the holiday season, with programming and events planned throughout the winter months, including fitness classes, outdoor activities and special ice skating and tubing theme nights. Skating on Hy-Vee Plaza will be open throughout the season, and Ariens Hill will open for tubing in the coming weeks, as soon as weather conditions are favorable for making snow.
