For his performance vs. the Detroit Lions, cornerback Charles Woodson was selected as the Packers Hall of Fame Featured Player of the Week. The exhibit contains memorabilia from the victory over the Lions, including a game ball autographed by Woodson.

Woodson played a key role in the win with a 48-yard interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter. It was his eighth career TD return of an interception with the Packers, which set a franchise record. He had been tied with Herb Adderley (seven, 1961-69) for the team mark. It also was Woodson's ninth defensive TD (eight INTs, one fumble return) in a Green Bay uniform, which further extends his franchise record.

It marked the third straight season against Detroit (2008-2010) that Woodson has posted an interception return for a touchdown. He becomes the first player in NFL history to post an INT return for a touchdown in three consecutive seasons against the same team. It also was Woodson's 10th career interception return for a TD (two with Oakland), which moves him into the No. 3 spot in NFL history behind only Rod Woodson (12) and Darren Sharper (11). Additionally, Woodson now has posted an INT return for a touchdown in five straight seasons, all five of his years in Green Bay (2006-10), to become the first player in NFL history to record an INT return for a TD in five consecutive seasons.

In the fourth quarter, Woodson had a hand in forcing the Lions to punt, making a tackle on first down, and breaking up passes on second and third down. Following the subsequent punt, the Packers took over with 6:32 remaining and proceeded to run out the clock for the victory.

Each week, new items from the previous weekend's game will be placed in the display to be viewed by visitors to the Hall. Included among the items will be the autographed game ball, which at the end of the week will be awarded randomly to a Hall of Fame visitor who signed up for the free drawing.

Also in the exhibit will be the featured player's jersey, as well as potentially other items such as a face mask, shoes, gloves and other equipment.

The winners of game balls thus far have been Kimberly Ruffolo, Lake In The Hills, Ill. (Week 1, Clay Matthews); Stan Martin, Avondale, Ariz. (Week 2, Jermichael Finley); and Amy Johnson, St. Peters, Mo. (Week 3, Aaron Rodgers).

The exhibit will continue through the season. Hall of Fame admission is required to see the exhibit, and visitors are able to fill out a raffle form for a chance to win the ball. One raffle ticket will be distributed per each paid admission. Raffle winners will be selected at close of business Saturday and be notified on or before the following Monday.

The featured player will be selected after each game and will be indicated in game coverage on the team's Web site, Packers.com. Packers.com also will feature a photo of the display at the beginning of each week.
