Has been selected to six Pro Bowls (2009-14) during his career and has been named first-team All-Pro by The Associated Press four times (2009-12). Is tied with Ravens G Marshal Yanda for the most Pro Bowl appearances by a guard since '09.

Has started all 169 games he has played in since entering the league in 2006, the most games played by an active NFL offensive lineman over that span.

Helped the Saints finish in the top six in the league in total offense in all 11 of his seasons in New Orleans (2006-16), including six No. 1 rankings (2006, 2008-09, 2011, 2014, 2016).

Ranks No. 2 in Saints history among offensive linemen with 169 career games played, trailing only Stan Brock (186, 1980-92).

Was named to his first career Pro Bowl and earned first-team All-Pro recognition from AP for the first time in 2009, a season that was capped off with the Saints' victory over Indianapolis in Super Bowl XLIV.

Entered the NFL with New Orleans in 2006 as a fourth-round pick (No. 108 overall) out of Bloomsburg (Pa.) University, where he was a finalist for the Division II Gene Upshaw Player of the Year Award in both of his final two seasons.
