Tretter appeared in the final eight games of the Packers' 2014 regular season and two playoff games after returning from injured reserve since the start of the season.

In 2013, Tretter spent the majority of his rookie campaign on reserve/physically unable to perform after sustaining a significant ankle injury during the first practice of Organized Team Activities in the spring. He returned to practice on Nov. 19 and was activated to the 53-man roster leading up to Green Bay's Week 15 contest at Dallas. Tretter was a gameday inactive for the final three regular-season games and the team's playoff contest.

Tretter was selected by Green Bay with the second of three picks in the fourth round (No. 122 overall), the first player from Cornell to be drafted by the Packers since E Stan Intihar (1956, 18th round).

Tretter was born in Batavia, N.Y., and attended Cornell University.

Tretter earned first-team Football Championship Subdivision All-American honors from The NFL Draft Report following his senior season in 2012, becoming just the third Cornell offensive lineman to earn the distinction since 1940.

Tretter credited his father, Joe, who lettered as a TE at Hobart (N.Y.) College (1980-83), as having the biggest influence on him as an athlete. Tretter also has three uncles who played college football, including Dave Tretter, who was a RB at Cornell (1975, 1977), Bob Tretter, who was a QB at Hobart College in New York (1979-82), and Bill Tretter, who was a DE/P at the University of Rochester and still ranks in the top 10 in every major career statistical punting category in school history.

Tretter enjoys all forms of competitive games, naming darts, backgammon and video games among his favorite leisure activities.

Tretter lists The Walking Dead as his favorite TV show, The Great Gatsby as his favorite book and Law Abiding Citizen as his favorite movie. Tretter visited the Dominican Republic during the summer in both 2011 and 2012 and names it as his favorite vacation spot.
