Nelson went from being a walk-on safety as a freshman in 2003 to posting the most prolific single season in Kansas State history with 122 receptions for 1,606 yards (13.2 avg.) in '07 on his way to earning consensus All-American honors.

Nelson set a single-season franchise record with 1,519 receiving yards in 2014, on his way to being selected to his first career Pro Bowl and earning second-team All-Pro honors from the Associated Press.

Nelson is tied for No. 1 in franchise history (WR Greg Jennings) with four career TD catches of 80-plus yards.

He became just the eighth player in NFL history to record 95-plus receptions, 1,500-plus recieving yards, and 13-plus TDs in the same season in 2014.

Led the team with nine receptions for 140 yards and a TD in the Super Bowl XLV win over Pittsburgh.

Nelson registered a career-high seven 100-yard recieving games in '14, which is tied for No. 2 in franchise history.

Nelson signed a contract extension with the club on July 26, 2014.
