Eddie Darwin Lacy Jr. was born in Gretna, La.
27 was drafted 61st overall in the 2013 NFL Draft.
During his time at Alabama, Lacy majored in consumer science and was a part of three national championship teams during his four years on campus.
In his rookie season, Lacy rushed for 1,178 yards and 11 TDs in 15 games, and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Last season Lacy started and played in all 16 games while rushing for 1,139 yards with a 4.6 rush per carry average. He also scored 9 rushing TDs and 4 receiving TDs.
In his brief career thus far Lacy has racked up 530 carries, 2,317 yards, 24 total TDs and has a 4.4 yards/rush average.
Lacy was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2013, becoming the first Green Bay rookie RB to be named to the all-star game since John Brockington in 1971.
