What: 11th Packers Family Night, Presented by Bellin Health. To benefit Wendy's Wonderful Kids.
When/Where:
- Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, Lambeau Field.
- Day Activities get underway at 10:30 a.m. in the Tundra Tailgate Zone and parking lot. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., warm-ups at 6:30 and practice at approximately 7:30.
Sponsors:
- Bellin Health is the presenting sponsor. Other sponsors include Fox 11, Wendy's Wonderful Kids and Copps-Pick 'N Save.
Features/Activities:
- Warm-ups and an Practice for the Packers' offense and defense.
- Copps-Pick 'N Save Family Night Picnic: In Lambeau Field's east-side parking lot, from 12:30 to 6 p.m.
- Chili's Jerseys-Off-Our-Backs promotion: Packers once again be giving away Family Night used jerseys to lucky fans in attendance.
- Frontier's Interactive Kiosks: will be giving away one door prize to be announced in-stadium.
- Copps-Pick 'N Save Fireworks: The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
- Kemps Packers Experience, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Sidewalk Chalk Area, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. near the Oneida Nation Gate..
- Stadium Concourse Activities during practice include clowns, crafts, G-Force tattoos, airbrush tattoos and sign-making.
Tickets:
- Tickets are priced at $10 and are available through Ticketmaster, online, over the phone and in person. Ticketmaster fees will apply. Click here to purchase online.
- Over the phone, tickets can be purchased by calling toll free at 800/745-3000. The toll-free Ticketmaster Express number, 866/448-7849, also can be used. It is a self-service information line utilizing an automated system. A TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) number also is available at 877/474-4TDD.
- In-person sales will be conducted at a number of Ticketmaster locations, including Wal-Mart locations throughout Wisconsin, as well as Boston Store locations in Brookfield, Glendale, Greendale, Janesville, Madison, Milwaukee, Racine and Wauwatosa. - The Packers' ticket office at Lambeau Field also is an option for in-person purchases.
- In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities - from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show - are cancelled.
- All individuals, regardless of age, require a ticket for admittance.
Parking:
- Parking for the event will be $5, with 100 percent of the net proceeds to be donated to the Packers' 'Family Night' partner, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, to support its Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program in Wisconsin
- Due to the potentially large number of people attending, parking will be limited. Please plan to arrive early.
Television:
- For fans not attending the event, it will be televised in Green Bay on WLUK-TV FOX 11, as well as on WITI-TV in Milwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau and WLAX-TV in La Crosse. Hosted by Drew Smith and other members of the Fox 11 sports and news staffs, the live broadcast will start at 6:30 p.m.
Day's Timeline:
- 10:30 a.m. - Atrium and parking lot open to the public.
- 10:30 a.m. - Day Activities begin in Tundra Tailgate Zone and parking lot.
- 3:30 p.m. - Atrium closes to the public.
- 4:30 p.m. - Atrium re-opens to ticketed guests.
- 5:30 p.m. - Gates open.
- 5:30 p.m. - Youth football teams will scrimmage on-field.
- 6:00 p.m. - 2010 Packers Highlight Film
- 6:30 p.m. - Packers warm-ups (south half of field).
- 6:40 p.m. - Green Bay Elite Dance Group (north half of field).
- 7:15 p.m. - Oneida Nation Contest.
- 7:30 p.m. - Packers introductions, National Anthem, practice kickoff.
- Post-practice - Lambeau Field fireworks display, Family Night ends.
