The sting of the Packers' early exit from the postseason may still be too fresh for some to appreciate what the team accomplished in the regular season, but the 2011 Packers left their stamp all over the team record book, featuring both team and individual achievements.
Here's a rundown of the most significant records and statistics that will sit atop the franchise's all-time lists, at least until next year. Unless noted, all records are for regular-season games only.
Victories
The Packers set franchise records for most wins in a regular season (15), most wins to start a season (13), longest single-season winning streak (13), longest winning streak including playoffs (19, dating back to Week 16 of 2010), most road wins in one regular season (seven) and longest road winning streak including playoffs (10, dating back to 2010 wild-card game).
The 19-game winning streak was the second-longest in NFL history, behind only New England's 21-game streak in 2003-04.
Green Bay also swept all division games for the first time in team history since the NFL went to the current divisional format in 1967, and became the first team to sweep the NFC North/Central since the 1987 Chicago Bears.
Scoring
The franchise records set included points scored in a season (560), points per game overall (35.0) and at home (40.1), touchdowns (70) and number of players scoring touchdowns (19).
All of those totals ranked No. 1 in the league this season, while the number of points and touchdowns both ranked second in NFL history to the 2007 Patriots (589 points, 75 TDs).
Yardage
The offense set franchise records for total yards (6,482) and net passing yards (4,924), beating the 2004 team in both cases (6,357 total yards, 4,449 net passing).
Turnovers
With just 14 giveaways in the regular season, the Packers set a single-season franchise record for fewest turnovers. That beat by two the mark set two years ago.
On the other side of the ball, the Packers' 31 interceptions led the league and were the team's most since the 1970 league merger. Individually, Charles Woodson's interception return for a touchdown in Week 4 vs. Denver extended two franchise records and one league record. Woodson now has nine interception-return TDs and 10 defensive TDs with the Packers, most all time, and he's the only player in league history to return an interception for a touchdown in six straight seasons (2006-11).
Quarterbacks
Aaron Rodgers set franchise and league single-season records with a 122.5 passer rating, which included a league-record streak of 12 straight games with a 100-plus rating. Rodgers also set single-season franchise records for passing yards (4,643), TD passes (45), completion percentage (68.3), and most three-TD games (10) and 300-yard games (eight).
In an amazing coincidence, Rodgers tied the franchise record for lowest interception percentage at 1.20. He threw six interceptions in 502 attempts, precisely half of Bart Starr's 1966 totals of three interceptions in 251 attempts.
Meanwhile, Matt Flynn set the single-game franchise marks for passing yards (480) and TD passes (six) in his lone start of the season in Week 17.
Wide receivers
Collectively, Packers wide receivers set franchise marks for most receiving yards (3,667) and touchdown receptions (38) in one season, leading the league in both categories. The group also had a number of franchise firsts, including the first time the Packers had five wide receivers with at least 25 catches and five with at least 300 receiving yards. In Week 4 vs. Denver, the Packers had four different wide receivers catch TD passes in the same game for the first time.
Individually, Jordy Nelson tied the franchise record for the most 80-plus-yard TD catches in one season with two, as he scored from 84 yards in Week 2 at Carolina and from 93 yards in Week 6 vs. St. Louis. Also, Donald Driver became the franchise's all-time leader in receiving yards in Week 2 and became the first Packers player to surpass 10,000 career receiving yards in Week 16 vs. Chicago.
Specialists
Kicker Mason Crosby set franchise records for extra points made (68), consecutive field goals made (23, dating back to Week 13 of 2010), and longest field goal, with a 58-yarder at Minnesota in Week 7. That topped the previous franchise record of 56 yards he had achieved twice previously, the second time in Atlanta in Week 5.
As the Packers punted the fewest times in franchise history in a 16-game season (55), punter Tim Masthay set team marks for gross punting average (45.6) and net punting average (38.56), the latter a stat kept only since 1976.
Rookie returner Randall Cobb set a team record and matched the NFL record for longest kickoff return (108 yards), set a franchise rookie record for kickoff return yards (941) and became the first rookie in team history to return a punt and kickoff for TDs in the same season.
Miscellaneous
The Packers set 16-game franchise records for fewest penalties (76) and penalty yards (591) in one season. Those totals ranked first and second in the league this year, respectively. The 76 penalties were two fewer than in 2010.
With six sacks in 2011, linebacker Clay Matthews tied the top mark in team history (since sacks became official in 1982) for most sacks in a player's first three seasons in the league. Matthews has 29.5 sacks, tying him with Tony Bennett (1990-92). Additional coverage - Jan. 20
